FAA Part 137

Agricultural Aircraft Operations

Federal certification required to legally apply pesticides, herbicides, and retardants from an aerial platform. Most drone operators cannot obtain this.

FAA Part 107

Commercial UAS Operations

Required for all commercial drone operations in US airspace. The baseline for legal, insured drone work.

QAL

Qualified Applicator License

State-level certification authorizing the application of restricted-use pesticides. Requires demonstrated knowledge of application methods, safety, and regulations.

PCA

Pest Control Adviser

Licensed to scout, diagnose, and recommend pest management strategies — bridging observation data and informed application.

APC

Aircraft Pilot Certificate

FAA pilot certification authorizing the operation of aircraft — the manned-aviation foundation behind every flight discipline we apply to UAS work.
